FOR THE BUNNIES
Using the free bunny pattern, cut bunnies out of wool felt.
Put 2 bunnies on top of each other,
sew around the edge about 1/4" from the edge or less if you are accurate in your sewing.
You are not turning this inside out.
Stuff with fiberfill.
Sew closed.
For the jacket, sew the two front pieces to the one back piece at the shoulders and the sides.

Applique the little carrots to the front side and add two tiny pieces of rick rack for the leaves.

 Spring Carrot bunting:
What you will need:
3 or 4 carrots
Green fabric scrap for strips (leaves)
3 or 4 felt triangles
orange rick rack (at least a yard)

Using the free carrot pattern, cut out as many carrots as you want.
I cut out three, and three triangles that were bigger than the carrots. The top of the triangle was 3" across, and 3 1/2" long.
Pin carrot to center of triangle, sew 1/4" from edge.
Next sew the three triangles together in a row using the orange rick rack, sewing it to the top of each triangle.
Last, take your square of green gingham and snip little strips to represent leaves.

Stuffed Baby Carrots
What you will need
Scraps of orange gingham or orange fabric
scraps of green fabric for strips (leaves)
Fiberfill
Take your green fabric and cut into a 1" square....cut snips into fabric as shown below.
YOu are going to fold this into thirds and then  pin it to the center of the top of the carrot. The little snipped strips will look like carrot leaves when completed.

Pin another carrot onto this piece, you are going to sew around the edges, leaving an opening for stuffing the carrot with fiber fill.
Turn inside out and stuff carefully with fiberfill.
ONce they are stuffed, sew the openings closed.
Make extra carrots because bunnies are known for eating lots of carrots!

 Bunny Blanket
What you will need:

1/4" white or cream wool or felt.
Scraps of green, orange, aqua fabric
green rick rack
orange buttons

Cut a piece of felt for your blanket 8 1/2" x 8 1/2"
First you want to sew a 1"x 8 1/2" strip of aqua (to represent the sky) across the top of the fabric.
About a 1/2" below the aqua strip sew a 1" x 8 1/2" strip of spring green (to represent the grass).

Next take 3 carrot pieces and eyeball them onto your little quilt, evenly apart placing them just below the green strip. Before you sew them into place pin or even sew your rick rack into place, making sure the rick rack is where you want it for the leaves. You are going to sew the carrots over the green rick rack. Pin the carrots in place. You are going to sew 1/4" from the edge leaving the edge raw.

After your carrots are on, all you have to do is sew your orange buttons (I got mine from Walmart) onto the carrots. You are done with the little quilt.

FOR THE PILLOW AND PILLOW CASE
The little pillow case was very easy. Your pillow case is made out of 2 rectangles that are 4 1/2" x 5" ...

Take a strip of your floral fabric ( 2" wide and about 12" long), fold in half, press. Gather the raw edge. Sew 1 side of your pillow case shut, add your ruffle to the top opening, then sew your last side to form your pillow case.  Turn inside out and press.

To make a small pillow, cut 2 rectangles 4 x 4 1/2". Sew three sides, turn inside out and stuff with fiberfill. Sew closed.
Now your little bunny has a pillow for her head, and a stuffed carrot to sleep with (instead of a teddy bear) and a warm pillow for chilly nights!
If you have any questions feel free to email me (DebbBoo9@aol.com). Just put bunny quilt or something similar to that in the email subject line.
Blessings,
Debbie
